Liz and John were asked to come over to Norway by Torill in Feb to show Victoria at her first International show. We arrived at Torp on Fri 20th Feb to a very snowy Norway greeted by Torill and Stian.
When we arrived at the hotel, Liz had a lovley surprise for birthday as Torill had framed 2 great pictures of Victoria and a nice bottle of wine waiting for her in the room, thank you Torill, Bent-Ove and Alf for this great present.
The show was on the saturday, there were 24 Afghans entered under the Finnish judge Matti Luoso. Victoria was entered in her first Junior class at only 9 months and we are pleased to say that Liz and Victoria won this class.
It was also a special trip as Liz met up again with Gunilla and Francis (Kennel Kingsleah) who had bought Ch Star't Cutting Trax of Jhanzi to the show, Kid Sox did brillant and won Best Male and Best of Breed, this win gave Kid Sox his Norwegian and Nordic Champion title.
On the saturday night, there was a meal and then Karoke for all the dog people, Stian did his part and got up to sing as he won Best Bitch with a lovley Saluki that he handled that day. Liz was also suprised by everyone getting together and singing happy birthday to her aswell as being given a cocktail as a present.
Everyone was so friendly in Norway and some good new friendships have been formed. We can not thank Stian and Torill enough for everything they did for us and hope to be back soon.
