CC & BOB , UK, Aust Gr Ch, Nz Gr Ch Rainbow Aladin of Jhanzi (imp) what a joy it was to see this dog enter the ring, his ring presence, style, topline, angulation and the longest of necks set into good shoulders was all to see, it was his complete presence and style that only great dogs have and domination of the ring that gained him BOB. I am sure that given the right time this boy will continue to do great things.

Open CC & BOB - impressive eyecatching houndy dog from the top drawer, one you can not look past, head of correct proportions, strong neck with plenty of reach, deep brisket, well sprung ribcage, super angulated quaters, low set hocks, plenty of sweep from hip to hocks, in hard muscletone, coat presented to a hiar, commands attention, swept around the ring with style of high order, smooth springy gait, could move all day with no effort, can provide the breed with essential breed points, finished off with ring tail, dog presented to perfection, handled with professional skill to get the best out of him.

BIS - People were asking if enjoyed the group judging and i can honestly say that I did enhoy every minute of it. i was fortunate to have fellow judges sending in outstanding dogs in so many breeds, hence my line up for best in show was a pleasure. I placed myself, thoroughly going over the finalist. In the end the competition was so strong it was a matter of showmanship and splitting hair that decided it. BIS went to the Afghan who took my eye completely.
Hound Group - Another lovley group and shortlisted was
The fabulous Afghan, Ch Rainbow Aladin of Jhanzi (Imp) with a superb outline, style and excellent springy movement. One that really took your eye, this eight year old is owned by Millward, Wilson, Brownless, Hansen & Gilchrist and is a champion in Aust, New Zealand as well as the UK.
Yet another strong group but in the end the Afghan just stood out so had to win it.
Joe Ashwood - Breed Judge
Super specimen of the breed, well presented down to the last hair. Lovley long foreface, slight stop, domed head, low set eyes, strong muscular arched neck leading into good body assembly, level topline maintained on the move and standing, in super body and condition, good bend of stifle, which gave him great power and drive from behind. Moves and covers the ground really well giving an impression of strenght and dignity which are essential characteristics of the breed, Delighted to see him win the hound group but unfortunately due to work committments I was not present to see him go BIS.

There has been alot written about this dog and alot said, but what cann add is that now i have had the privilege to go over him and conclude my own thoughts. In this class of open dogs on the day he just simply stood away, you cannot help it but he draws your attention. On close examinationhe possesses a beautiful balanced head of correct proportions including that punishing jaw, super keen eye, giving off that look through you attitude that only the afghan can do. Very good neck, well filled front, excellent ribs, super bone and well padded feet. Loved his overall balance. Excellent pin bones and well angulated rear. He particularly has very good parallel hocks, his tailset is bang on topped off with a characteristic ring. He looks impressive stacked but when he moves its even more of a pleasure and joy to observe his style of high order in profile, tremendous rear drive and forward reach all connecting with his handler. It is a breath taking experience, top this with 110% presentation, you truly do have a magic combination. Thank you for the opportunity. CC,BOB and G1.
